am going to describe this in as much detail as possible and be very honestUrgent genuine sale- let's get this out of the way- am 40yrs old, working full time, do not buy and sell cars. have another car which is 2013 Astra Gtc diesel. 2nd gear has gone on the Astra and also need to move home so am looking to raise money ASAP325ci sport manual- being Sport (later referred to as 'M-Sport') it has better seats, black headliner, body kit, lower suspension, 'M' bits on the interior, but you already know all that anyway. I bought this as as slight project few months ago as I've always liked older cars as well. When got it it had has long Mot and was in all round pretty good condition APART from few things namely- rust on front arches (none on rear) laquer fade on bonnet, small area of damage on the front bumper, scab on the deck panel horseshoe and few daft bitsSince bought it have done the following-Fitted second hand wingsRefurbed the headlightsChanged the centre console to cup holderChanged the gas struts in the bootRemoved and sanded and primered the horseshoe but it is currently back on the car but in primerCleaned the inside- the interior is in really really good condition--leather electric memory seatsBought pressed metal numberplatesTouched up some kerb rash on the wheelsStarted on the front bumperIt has 154k on the clock. Drives very well, very smooth engine and clutch. You can accelerate smoothly in the gears no issues whatsoever BUT if you accelerate put foot flat down in 2nd only from low revs there is bit of grumble from under the transmission tunnel as it goes through the 3000 mark- think it needs centre prop bearing or giuboThere are no knocks clunks looseness in the steering or suspension, so think all the joints shafts etc are good- it had about 10 months test when got it so should doThe front bumper is currently off and I've started trying to spray it by hand but then I've abandoned it as the weather changedThere is some history to about 100k ish think and few receipts and bits and bobs after that. It has all the manuals etc. owners think. It really would make an excellent slight project and very very tidy usable car for not much money.So to be clear it wants- bonnet respray or cheap 2nd hand bonnet, front bumper sorting (can be put back on as is for driving purposes) and giubo or prop bearing. Closest to £1000 takes itI will not hold this for anybody without £200 deposit by paypal
