Hi, welcome to my auction for my 2003 Ford Focus Ghia 5-door Hatchback
I have owned this car for almost two years and it has run without hiccough since then! Is great little workhorse which will keep chugging away for years to come. I'm selling because have bought Mondeo Estate due to work and family and certainly don't need both cars!
She is on just over 100,000 miles which is fairly low for diesel workhorse, and can see from the MOT certificate that the car has only done around 15,000 miles over the past four years. The car has service history up to 71,000 miles and had the cam belt replaced at 72,000, only 30,000 miles ago :)
Tyres are all good, runs exactly as she should, had kept her for my parents to use when they were visiting over Christmas and even though she hadn't been run in month or two, still started first time and was fine for them when they were here. Inside is still in good condition and the heating/aircon all works fine. Electric height adjustable driver's seat and heated front windscreen too.
Easily returns me 50mpg on mixed roads, cheap to insure, only previous owners (I acquired it when the previous elderly lady owner unfortunately died). Have plenty of paperwork and invoices.
The only bad bits to note are couple of patches of rust above the windscreen (can be seen in the pictures, pretty easy to tidy up), and some filler (painted silver) just above the front numberplate which isn't particularly noticeable.
The last MOT has advisories for deteriorated front suspension dust covers, corroded rear springs, and deteriorated rear trailing arm bushes, none of which are too big deal and cheap to replace if need be. There is an advisory for one worn brake pad, however I'm fairly certain that have had the front brakes replaced since then.
