Hi,

My wife's old car is for sale.  It's 2004 1.4 Petrol Ford Fiesta in silver.

It has 123k miles on the clock and is MOT'd until March 2017.

The car is in poor condition overall, but does start and drive.

It has crack on the rear bumper, but if you're interested have spare rear bumper in silver which never got round to fitting (paid £60 for it).  It has various dings and scrapes all around it, and there's small rip on the edge of the drivers seat.

We've had the car just over year spent £250 putting it through it's MOT in March this year.  

It's got few mechanical issues which i've fixed myself during the time we've had it (Coil Pack needed replacing, so did the pack, HT leads and plugs), and the throttle body needed cleaning as it was hesitant at idle.  Having cleaned it months ago it was fine until this month when it started suffering the same symptoms.  I've cleaned the throttle body again but it's still hesitant/stalling at idle.  Keeping the revs up prevents it from stalling.  suspect if was to drive it for 5-10 miles or so it might correct itself as the ECU is probably retarding something and will continue to do so until it re-learns that i've cleaned the throttle body... but the car is no longer insured so won't be doing that!  I've not even bothered to look online for what else might be causing it as i've given my wife my car since bought new one.

Also the exhaust is blowing patched it with an exhaust patch before the MOT and it didnt even get an advisory but it was blowing again within the week.  :-)

I paid £650 for the car 14 months ago and have spent probably £350 maintaining it incl MOT.  I'm after £400 for it ideally.

Oh, and the car has full tank of fuel which is worth about 35 quid :-)

Lastly the car is dirty, and won't be cleaning it!  can't take it somewhere to be cleaned as it's not insured, and i'm not cleaning it myself as have bad back!
