This car has been owned by my mother since it was only approximately months old. We originally bought the car as stolen recovered vehicle which had been stolen using the keys and was without damage when it was recovered apart from small crack to the bottom of the front bumper. This was replaced with brand new genuine Ford bumper which came pre-painted from Ford.
The car is now genuinely in immaculate condition throughout and has been meticulously well cared for while we have owned it.
Approximately months ago the car was involved in minor rear end bump while my mother was stationary in traffic which caused damage to the bumper, tailgate and rear valance. The damage was superficial only and the car was still perfectly drivable as it was. The car was assessed by the insurance company and it was deemed to be an uneconomical repair and therefore was recorded as minor category D.
We then bought the car back from the insurance company and had the damage professionally repaired using brand new genuine Ford panels and as hope you can see from the pictures, the car is now as straight as die. The repair was done to the highest of standards. The colour match is perfect and all the panel gaps are correct. You can not tell the car was ever damaged and any inspection is more than welcome before the end of the auction.
As expected the car is registered in my mothers name and to our home address. The full V5 logbook is present and we have two remote keys for the car. We also have the service book and this has been kept stamped up to date with the last service being only about 2000 miles ago.
As said above, the car is genuinely immaculate throughout with spotlessly clean and fresh interior.The car is an absolute pleasure to use and the automatic gearbox is fantastic. It goes like train and pulls more like modern 1.8 diesel than little 1.0 petrol. The car really does run and drive exactly as it should do with no faults whatsoever and gives around 43mpg on average with only £20 per year road tax.
This really has been fantastic little car and we will be sad to see it go. Selling only due to now having disability vehicle.
The car will come with full 12 month MOT, Full V5 logbook, Full service history and two keys. These are selling for way over £8500 on Autotrader with this spec and gearbox and the car usually books at over £9000 with this mileage. This will be bargain for someone. Should be seen to be fully appreciated.
