This car has been owned since new by one of the partners of local firm of solicitors. It was purchased from, and has had every service carried out at the BMW dealership in Dorchester, and maintained regardless of cost. There are the usual stone chips and odd scratch as you would expect from car of this age and mileage, but the engine drives faultlessly and the interior is unmarked.There are good Michelin tyres fitted with new spare in the boot.There are lot of X5's out there, and some of them have had several owners, not all of whom will have driven and treated them with respect. When these cars start selling for ??3,000 ??4,000 the owners tend to cut corners on maintenance and servicing resulting in hefty bills for the next owner. The solicitor who owned this has had the option to change it every year since it was three years old but saw no point in changing for the sake of it. Finally, after 10 years of ownership, he has changed it for new one. do not think you will find another one owner full service history example out there for less than ??6,000, irrespective of age and mileage.Do you want to risk buying one that's seen hard use during several owners? Or, would you prefer one careful and considerate owner from new?The vehicle is being sold with no reserve.
