For sale is my beloved 1997 2500cc Fiat Ducato campervan.  This has manual gearbox and diesel engine. have thoroughly enjoyed this van for the last years, but it is now time for someone else to own and love it.
The previous owner converted this old ambulance into (possibly 3) berth camper.  The van still retains lot of the quirky details of the ambulance, and both the previous owner and have added our own touches as well with stickers and decals both inside and out.
The MOT has expired (1 July 2017), and as such am selling this as project spares or repair.  Although the van starts first time, the last time drove it on longer journey the engine started making noise, and it lost some of its power.  It could be simple fix, possibly related to the exhaust, or it could be something else. would recommend having mechanic look at the van to determine what is wrong with it, and am happy for potential buyers to arrange to do this before bidding.  
The van is currently being kept at Scarborough College, YO11 3BA.
I have tried to photograph all of the problem areas, but will also list some points here:
The Good:Very nice Kenwood CD player and radio including speakers above the cab for the living area. Manuals included.New battery 12 months ago van starts first time.  I use solar trickle charger to keep the battery topped up would be willing to include this if the van sells for reasonable price.Battery isolator.Full size fixed single bed converts to sofa.  Mattress protector included.Rear kitchen area can be converted to bed this will certainly sleep possibly 2.Gas grill and ring hob includes partially used gas bottle, connector and hose.Small electric fridge I’ve never used this.TV with aerial I’ve never used this.Small folding table.Waste-water bottle.Curtains for all windows, and others to divide up the sleeping areas.Lots of storage in the rear kitchen area and above the cab.Large interior spotlight.Push-up skylight for ventilation.Electric hookup cables.Fiamma roll-out awning above the door. (from VW campervan, so legs are little short rest them on table).I’ve decorated the ceiling of the living area with peel off stickers of cherry trees these are easy to remove if not to your taste!It has been serviced (and repaired) every year have owned it.Paperwork included: V5 (Log book), original Fiat Ducato owners manual in the original Fiat wallet, years of MOT certificates, years of receipts for work carried out, 'Faults book' from when this was used as an ambulance.
The Bad:Water pump for the sink does not work.Small oil or diesel leak leaves spots on the ground underneath the engine.Noisy engine doesn’t like going up hills! Unsure of reason.Previous owner advised me to disconnect the gas bottle when not using the hob so have always done this.There is an occasional leak around the skylight, and some peeling paint around this area.  Temporary repair made with duct-tape.Rear doors do not open (deliberately done by previous owner in the refit).Small chip in windscreen.
The Ugly:Rotten rear wheel arches, previously patched with filler, now cracking in places. Roof needs good clean but can’t reach! (It’s been parked under tree).It is old, and as such has the expected rust patches (see pictures).There are numerous, dings, dents, scrapes and marks on the bodywork (see pictures).
