This car has been reliable runner for commuting the last few months, but is no longer required. It is in generally good condition visibly and:- It has done less miles than average for its age (114,784)- It also has fitted tow-bar with electrics.- Serviced 09/11/2016 front brake disks and pads replaced.- very new Continental tyres fitted only couple of weeks ago! - Taxed to 01/03/2018 (available if remainder paid for).
However, it is out of MOT later this month (23/04/2017) and has the following key issues, which am not willing to invest in for repair myself as don't need the car any longer, so it is only likely to be of interest to someone willing to repair it (potentially for resale at tidy profit) or for the parts:- It does not start! This issue only happened out of the blue today, so may be simple to fix!- The fan doesn't work (therefore in traffic jams you need to keep the heaters blowing hot air to cool the engine). I've been told the fan unit needs replacing. This has caused the engine management warning light to come on sometimes.- The air-con unit needs replacing.
