Good bits, am getting 50-55mpg on average (commuting 50 miles every day on the motorway at 60-65mph). Starts first time, tow bar, trip computer, 1.9TDI with speed. it has seats that are easy to adjust, re-arrange or remove to turn the car into van.  The car does have multi disc player and video screens in the back of the front headrests, but do not know if they work (don't know how£) Heated front and rear screens great for winter! All tyres okay.
interior needs good clean as have used the car for everything including camping, bikes, canoe equipment, dump runs, furniture and just about everything else. Exterior is typical for age.
Bad bits: viewing recommended!In need of service (filters and oil change)MOT runs out 25/11/2017The engine goes into limp mode if revs go over 2200rpm when in 4th gear or above. suspect the turbo is dirty and there is fix on Utube which involves two bolts, two hours under the car and can of oven cleaner, but do no have the time. It does however drive normally if you change gear at 2000rpm, which have been doing.  Limp mode can be de-activated immediately by turning the ignition off and on. Could be an easy fix if you have the time.Needs new rear exhaust boxStone chip in the windscreen (an advisory on last MOT)Airbag light is illuminated will try to get this re-set.Low brake-pad warning light illuminated, but pads are good will try to fix thisRear window wiper is jerky when in use but works and does complete cycleAll electric windows and switches work, other than one of the four driver's side switches (for front passenger window)The underside of the car could do with some wax-oilNo service historyLow start price so if you are handy with mechanics, have time and can look up the fixes on the internet, you could have an economical workhorse for very little outlay.
