NO MOT 179,000 miles
I am selling my Ford Mondeo, have owned it for just over years and it has been reliable, low cost car. In May received company car and didn't get round to selling the Mondeo till now, in which time the MOT has expired.
Due to being at busy stage in life and knowing very little about cars have decided to sell the car as it is, as am sure some work will need to be done to pass the MOT. For me the car has been very reliable, it has never broken down and is very economical on fuel, both the previous two MOTs were cheap with very little work needed to be carried out.
The car hasn't been driven for 4-5 months but have recharged the battery and started her up and the car is still running and drove it backwards and forwards in the front drive! The engine runs fine but has always sounded like bit of tractor, doesn't seem to effect the reliability and someone told me all the diesel ford mondeo' sound like this!
The body work looks pretty good, as does the interior. Obvious defects are, passenger door handle is broken on outside (took photo), right side tyres have slow punctures and look pretty bold. Amber engine/ emissions sign is on in car. Might need some work on injectors? Only guess.In my opinion this could be ideal for someone that wants cheap car and can do bit of the work cheaply to run for themselves or resell at profit.If you have any questions or want to come and view it give me call on 07779799436
