Ford Mondeo Ghia Estate 2002 

Selling due to unexpected chance to upgrade. 

Mileage is just under 151,000. 

MOT until 01/01/17.

We've owned it since 117k/early 2013 and have had it serviced regularly, oil changes generally every 6k. Service book is stamped up to 138k, beyond this there are invoices to prove servicing was carried out. The engine is strong, does not smoke and runs quietly. We've had several of these and they're very reliable, having something of an understressed engine. The car drives very well, with no knocks or rattles and still pulls well. 

The car polishes up well with its metallic paint and it still looks reasonably smart for something that is almost 15 years old. 

Known/obvious bad points: 

1. Windscreen has large crack in the centre. Has been present for two or three months and not worsened since it first appeared. Will need to be replaced prior to MOT. 

2. Bodywork and interior is generally clean, but there are odd minor scuffs, blemishes, minor dents and marks nothing any worse than you can see in the photos. 

3. Remote central locking key is present, but needs new battery. Access is gained via traditional metal key, sometimes the central locking doesn't unlock all doors (i.e. the drivers door unlocks and then the other doors have to be manually unlocked). 

4. One of the front spot lights is cracked. 

5. Aeriel snapped off in car wash. 

6. Alloys have the odd scuff and some corrosion to the inner rim one wheel in particular needs to be re-inflated every fortnight or so. 

7. Air bag system is off and not working (faulty air bag in the roof). 

8. Remote boot opening switch inside the car and rear wiper do not work.
