I bought the car from guy who did most of the work including the engine conversion fitted the interior cosworth kit and suspension, the work has been done to high standard although it has it niggles and the paintwork does look better in the pics than the flesh have shown pics of paint work defects including chip to front passenger wing by the door and scuff driver side rear bumper, some of the paint is original and please try to remember the car is nearly 30 years old. Do not expect new car or show car. The engine fitted is that of 99 SsangYong Musso 100k engine milage it shares larger capacity Mercedes diesel engine, different variant than the original, i have had the car for 12 months and have used as my summer commute 8000miles, the car regularly goes up and down the M6 M1 as live in Bham and work in Bedford. the car has never let me down. have changed the rear differential for lower ratio'd 2.6 auto diff (i have the original diff drive shafts new bushes and a spare prop included in sale) this has really improved the car as the original diff felt it needed an extra gear given the larger engines greater torque, effectively creating an overdrive. it is by no means fast car but that doesn't mean to say it cant be driven in a fashion, it will keep up with modern traffic and happily sit between 60-90mph on the motorway delivering good MPG. There is some recent history with the car and old mots it has recently had service, few new bulbs new oil and filters and a new battery did not use it through the winter months and had run the old one flat, it is great car with some desirable extras including the wheels and interior, it gets loads of attention and sounds amazing with the straight through exhaust.
