My wife purchased this car back in 2005. It has two former keepers and has been used constantly for the last ten years averaging around 10,000 miles per year.
For us the car isn't worth MOT'ing and re-taxing so we're selling as spares or repair.
I'll start with the good points:
- Serviced, taxed and MOT'd every year since 2005. We have stack of receipts going back to 2005. Current MOT expired February 2016. - Clutch changed at 75,000 miles. -Cam belt changed at around 85,000-Brand new battery last year from Halfords (just needs charging)-Four excellent tyres SpareFull glass panoramic roof with motorised blind-Recent exhaust change but blows at front due to bracket hole corrosion- Starts first time-No visible rust. -Recently renewed bushes-Ready to drive away once MOT'd taxed and insured-The mileage won't move as it is currently not taxed
Bad Points
-Both drive shafts are knocking on full lock so will need changing at some point. -Exhaust is blowing because the front clamp fixing point has corroded. Sure there's work around but we haven't worried about it. The actual exhaust pipe and rear box are in excellent condition. -Various scratches and dents on bodywork-Few small tears on the interior- Sign of small oil leak. It's not dripping on the floor or anything as bad as that but want it noted for reference. -The CD changer is still in the boot but have changed the stereo as the old one stopped working. -The centre console that shows time and temperature isn't working-The aircon needs re-gassing-The passenger side rear door locking mechanism is buzzing. Intermittent locking but all other doors work fine.- couple of speedo lights need replacing (the speedo comes out easy, can show you the access).- Passenger side door had an attempted break in few years ago.. Small crease in paint (see photo). - Only one remote key fob (fully working).
