This car had been slightly damaged but recorded as CAT C. Since being repaired it has been in the same family for nearly 10 years and has never given any trouble.  It has been very well looked after and serviced with genuine VW parts and has had regular oil changes every 5K.It has covered 145k but the engine, clutch and gearbox are as strong as the day it was built. The engine does not smoke, the turbo pulls well and does not use any oil or water. If you know VW engines these were one of the best ever made.It has had the rear axle bushes replaced with Powerflex Nylon bushes so will never need to be replaced again.It has alloy wheels and the Goodyears are only half worn. It has fully working tow bar and genuine VW mudflaps fittedThe interior is virtually as new condition with no rips or tears in the seats.
Sadly the MOT has found that the windscreen has cracked and that there is hole in the outer near side sill that will need welding and the nearside rear brake requires new wheel cylinder.There are some rust scabs on the body and there is some corrosion on the roof above the windscreen.
When this car was in use is was able to achieve over 60 mpg 
This car would repair easily and give lot more service or would break for camper van engine conversion etcThere is also over 3/4 diesel in the tank.
