Vauxhall Vectra VXR 2.8i V6 24v Turbo (255) Manual Hatchback Cat D
This is the Vauxhall Vectra VXR in Sapphire Black, have owned this car for around years and has been very reliable family car, I've never had any major problems or break downs with it. It has almost full service history and has never missed service or oil change. It has also had its major service done by Vauxhall.
It has 116,000 miles on the clock and has general wear and tear around the car as expected for car of its age and mileage.
Its starts first time and drives smoothly with no problems or issues and is very fast car! The fuel economy is surprisingly good for car with this size engine and power. Its averaging around 27mpg with mixed driving, mainly around town.
The car was first registered weeks before the new road tax rules came in to effect so it benefits from the cheaper road tax (£300 per year) compared with other Vectra VXRs! :)
It has recently had new front brake discs and pads costing around £350 and also new front driver side shock absorber which cost around the same. also have spare front shock absorber for the passenger side will give away with the car for future replacement which is worth around £300.
Mechanically the engine and gearbox is in really good condition with no rattles and runs smoothly and quiet on tick over. There is small radiator leak which will need attention eventually if it gets any worse.
The car is registered as CAT damaged as there was firework landed next to the car and set fire to the plastic side skirt which also slightly damaged the passenger door. have put new door on but the side skirt still needs to be replaced as have just covered it up temporarily with black tape (as shown in the photo's)
The insurance for this car is also surprisingly low for fast performance car as am only paying around £450 per year.
All in all, this had been fantastic family car and it will be very sadly missed when it goes.
