Extremely reluctant sale of my completed project car. 

This car started out life as small bumper 1.8 8v GTI in Helios blue. Original factory features include central locking, sunroof, rare headlight washers and power steering which have all been retained and work perfectly. 
I owned this car for about year before pulling the plastic arches and finding more rust than would have liked. The car was then fully stripped down to bare metal shell removing the engine, all glass, wiring, interior, fuel lines, brake lines, fuel tank etc. 
The rolling shell was completely sanded back to bare metal and taken to Themotorworks where all welding was taken care off. This included all arches inside and out where necessary, bottom of the windscreen, front jacking points and rear valance. The car was then painted in Oslo blue to an extremely high standard. This job alone was just under £5k and was completed July 2019. The car has moved approximately 30 miles since then due to moving house and the pandemic so the car is immaculate. Stored in the garage and never seen wet roads. The car was only rebuilt fully in the last months
After getting the shell back it was completely rebuilt to the following spec

I have probably missed bits but that’s the bulk of it. The car sounds amazing, paintwork is far better than factory and it drives lovely. haven’t put stereo in it but do have one can include with the car. have nearly 700 pictures of the restoration but can only put limited amount up. Happy to send more pictures or videos to anyone. Only selling due to having baby on the way, will not be accepting silly offers
