You are bidding on VW Golf TDI SE mk4.  The car is 2001 and is the 90BHP model.  bought the car as winter hack but enjoyed the comfort and silence of the car so much kept using it.  It is little battered with various dents and scrapes, but for the money it makes great car that you simply don't need to care about and can leave anywhere.  You can see from the pictures it looks ok but do not expect pristine concours car.  The car has seen life.  When cleaned up and in sunshine it looks really nice.  In addition to the factory alloys, the car also comes with set of steel wheels with winter tyres fitted.  It has the two factory keys which both work the remote central locking.  The car has Aircon but I'm not convinced it works. 

This car has had considerable money spent on it quite recently including new clutch not long ago. It comes with large pile of bills and history.  In the last few weeks it has had new rear shocks, mounts and rear brake pads.  Previous to my ownership, had known the car for around years.  It has done 234,000 miles but has never given any cause for concern to me or its previous owner.  have used it every day on 60 mile commute for months without concerns.  It regularly returns over 60 MPG.  It is an exceptionally cheap car to run.  It is MOT'd until December.  For the last MOT it needed the Sills repaired.  These were not just patched to get the MOT, the job was done fully and it is all now very strong.  The sills as you can see from the pictures are coated in underseal but could easily be cleaned and painted body colour.  will even throw in an aerosol of the Jazz Blue paint.
The bad bit!  other than the dents, last night, caught pothole with the back left wheel.  As you can see from the pictures, the impact burst the rear beam mounting eye.  suspect the rear beam must have just been weak with age and salt from the NE Scotland roads over the years.  The car drives insofar as you can drive it onto trailer.  It CANNOT be driven further than couple of feet.  Rusty suspension beam aside, there is no rust on the floor etc.  Structurally, the car is very good.  It will need new back beam/axle.  These are available easily on Ebay and other places for less than £100.  It would make really cheap fix for someone who needs cheap easy to live with car.  have reached the point where don't have the time to fit new beam.  The car was supposed to be for only winter and now really needs to go.  It is bad luck that this has happened.  The car still needs to go but is too useful to scrap.  It drove so well I'm sure it could go on for many years.
Please note, the car is located near Montrose in Scotland.  The car can be viewed before bidding if you wish.  will accept paypay to pay for the car but would prefer cash.  The car will need to be collected as cannot deliver it.  The car will need to be collected within days of the auction end.  cannot stress highly enough, THE CAR CANNOT BE DRIVEN AND WILL REQUIRED TO BE TRAILERED.  There is no reserve and the car will sell for whatever is bid.
