Golf FSi 1.6
Nice to drive.  
Had for years and in the summer spent over £300 on new brakes etc passed its MOT but now there is some electrical problem the elec windows, central locking, stereo aren't working all of the time and the battery is often flat so we have to bump it.  local mechanic had quick look outside my house told me its definitely not the alternator, he fitted new battery and told me he would need to eliminate whats wrong but decided to sell as need seater now.  
Would someone who knows about cars. Quite sure its an easy fix. It started with the stereo which was cutting out then other problems followed shortly after.  
Petrol cap cover is damaged see pic.
