VW GOLF MK2 GTI 16V doorHi here is my MK2 GTI 16V ihave owned this car for years and it has been full renovated, have drivenit as much as possible in that time, when got the car it had just gone fullre-spray/re-build, was informed by the previous owner that the engine wasfully rebuilt (i got no paperwork to support this from the previous owner) idid get the engine pressure tested/inspected at Vasstech Knaresboroughand it passed with flying colours and still pulls like new.Exterior Features The car went through fullrespray when got it, it is in good condition few scratches on thevehicle day to day use). The bodywork is like new (metalwork under theirpaint), the GTI is finished in the factory colour of 'Tornado Red'. Thestandard GTI trim and big bumpers are in beautiful condition overall body isbeautiful.Wheels TyresThe GTI boasts the Volkswagen15” BBS RA alloy wheels which have been dipped and powder coated (but are noton the car at the moment) are in mint condition and have four new tyres.Interior ComponentsThis GTI features brand newleather interior. The seats and upholstery front and rear in this vehicle havebeen stripped down to the springs and re-foamed as well as the black carpet andheadlining. This model has power-assisted-steering working stereo, sunroof andhas the added extra of electric windows. Mechanics The car is factory standardand all of the mechanical components are working brilliantly. have also had afull service carried out including oil replacement, oil filter, airfilter and fuel filter change and spark plugs replaced. The GTI has just had aMOT, the breaks, wheel bearings, pads, suspension and bushes have all beenreplaced. Service MaintenanceHistory There is very large folderof receipts which document the extensive history of the vehicle over the past 5years. This Volkswagen is stunning investment vehicle andappreciating asset which can be used and enjoyedGood bitsThis car is dream to driveand stick goes like stabbed rat, the ride is smooth and the new interior addsto the experience, have two keys and working stereo with Bluetooth phoneconnection, its joy to be in.Bad bitsThe paintwork Is good buttheir is few stone chips on the bonnet and couple of scratches, the sunroofis working but it has tape marks round it from when it didn’t (not while hadit) have no lock on the glovebox, I’m looking for breakdown kit for theboot as their isn’t one in the car. The speedo says 200,000 but this car driveslike new car. I have put lot of time andmoney into this car and love it, it drives like new and feels very special, butfrom the start it was stepping stone to me getting VW corrado VR6, willswap for corrado VR6 of better or worse conditions with cash negotiation .
