I have maintained the car very well, since taking ownership and replaced many many parts, listed below:
Full set of Uniroyal Rainsport Tyres (Fronts are little low on tread)Passenger side Driveshaft and fixingsDog Bone Mount (Slightly stiffer, so gear change is better than new!)Rear Shock absorbersCam Belt and Waterpump (Done roughly 20k miles ago)Clutch and Flywheel rebuild (Only don't miles so is mint!)Front Ball jointsRear Light clustersFront Track rod ends and tracking2nd coded keys Spend small fortune with VWgetting another genuine key coded to the car (hasn't been used)
The interior is in good condition, usual wear on drivers seat, but no stains and no rips. All plastics in great condition.Has VW MFD in it from Bora which works and have bought an AUX input cable from Germany.
Engine bay is in great condition, no leaks or oil drips (which are common). Apologies for no photos, will add.
Wheels are straight with no deep gauges and run straight and true. Could do with refurb at some point as previous owner had cracked the lacquer in couple of places.
Bodywork is in great condition (the main reason why bought it). It has absolutely rust, even in the arches which is common. There are obviously some light scratches and couple of stone chips to be expected with 17 year old car. Paintwork comes up very well with little polish, looks very smart.
I shall be very sorry to see the car go as its great example and it will only go up in value in the coming years.
