Mk golf gti track car 1.8 8v

Here we have mk2 golf gti project track car for sale, project being the key word, this car requires work and is not show piece.

Work done so far.
stainless steel exhaust from middle section backbrand new hella headlamps
new single grillfront and rear brake padsoil, oil filter, k&n air filter, fuel filter, plugstrack seats with sparco harnesses
front and rear strut braceroll cage welded inhead-gasket replaced with head skimtiming belt and tentioner
Diy plastic door pannels
New voltage regulator
Engine fan has been bypassed to switch on the dashgear linkage has all been re bushed
usb charge port on dash16v rear lightslowering shocks and springswe have the V5
Im sure more has been done to the car, if anything els comes to mind will add to the list.

The car will come with standard 14inch Mk gti alloys and

Things to note

Car has number dents all round as you can imagine with its age and has been on the track but not by my self, also paint work isn't great would say its down to its last layer of paint in some places due to lots of polishing over the years.

scuttle panel is rotten and will require repair

missing wheel arches and side skirts are included in the sale

I have many other spares to go with the car should you wish to take them, you can pick and choice what you would like, suspension drive shafts, hubs etc etc

i have had look over the car on ramp and can honestly say given its age its pretty solid!

car starts up perfectly however when you bring it up to temperature the water boils over very quickly in the header tank, don't know what the cause of this is nor do have the time, head gasket has been done due to low compression on cylinder which has brought it back up to scratch with all compression even across all cylinders 

car has been sat around for many years and needs to go, am purely asking what the car ows me and will not take penny less so no offers, as say this is project car, spares, repair, sold as seen. lots of spares to go with the car which if you have the time you could sell to go towards the project.
