For sale is my 1990 Golf mk2 GTI.
It is very solid and well looked after car on the whole, with lots of recent work being carried out. It drives well and is feels tight for its age, it has had work done to the suspensions etc within the past few thousand or so miles. It would make great modern classic to enjoy and drive.
The car has MOT until August 2020 with only an advisory for the rear wheel bearings, have the replacement bearings but haven’t got around to replacing them. The car has 161000 miles on the clock but still drives brilliantly, it’s my 3rd MK2 and drives the best so far. 
The car had lot of recent work, including the following; new H&R springs and dampers, Goodridge braided brake lines refurbished calipers, Track slag exhaust, new throttle cable, new battery, OMP steering wheel (original included), new brake pipes more. The car also comes on G60 steel wheels with nearly new NS2R tyres all around. Being 30 years old, it isn’t perfect, but to avoid going on too much, see below positives negatives:
Positive:All the work listed aboveVery solid body with no major rustPaintwork is great with only minor chips on the bonnet Interior is like great with no tears or marks and no missing trim.Car pulls and drives well with no knocks or smoke etc.Sounds great.Recent oil, air filter and spark plug change.Boot carpets etc. Have been replaced.All in arches are clean and solid.


Negatives:
MFA is clear but doesn’t display temperatures correctly.Sunroof opens but needs adjusting as it can be stubborn.Indicator stalk is temperamental and wipers can stick on.The rear wheel bearings need fitting at some point, they don’t make any noise however and are just an advisory.
I also have whole load of other spare parts that will go with the car.
