Here is superbly restored 1926 BSA S26 500cc sidevalve Flat-tanker, in excellent ready to rally condition.This example of BSA??™s rugged 500cc sidevalve is in beautifully restored well sorted excellent running order.It starts easily and sounds fantastic. Gears Clutch are all A1. The bike rides really well. Not much of front brake of course but the rear is Ok.Handling in general is fine and this bike is ready to ride. The previous keeper has already completed the Banbury run on this machine.The bike comes with V5C registration document. Registration is SV7924 declared manufactured 1926.Frame number 2643 engine number M8597 both match the V5c doc.The bike is registered for Historic Vehicle class (free) road tax and is of course pre-609 MOT exempt.Cosmetically the bike is real beauty. It has beenH restored to high standard of finish. The enamel on the frame is both excellent quality condition as is the rest of the black tinware. The tank has good paint job but the pin-striping is of the stuck on variety!Tyres are both virtually as new. Dunlop K70 rear and Mitas (Dunlop Universal pattern) on the front. Saddle is Terry??™s in good condition, exhaust looks all good too. All engine fins are good.So all in all this is an ideal Vintage machine for joining in with VMCC events, on the road and ready to go!Don??™t miss this lovely vintage BSA!
