Hi welcome to the auction of my Norton es2I've owned the bike for around 16 months  and done many of vintage runs and Sunday rides on, its lovely to ride.
It's great oily rag ride as is or an easy restoration.When got the bike it came with the original buff green log book along with an up to date v5, it's still on it's original number plate which is transferable.It's also worth mentioning that it's numbers matching (frame and engine) bike. Mot and tax exempt.
Was bought originally in wakefield and first registered in hebden bridge in 56, it then went to second owner in Burnley, the previous owner was in bacup so it's always been local bike to the area.The Smith's cronometric speedo works great, the trip mileage works but the actual mileage hasn't moved since I've had it so I'd say its unknown.
Theres plenty of history old mots back as far as 1996, receipts, tax discs and an original owners manual.The motor starts first kick an has bags of tourqe, really good spark from the mag and runs nice and healthy (I've done good 60 mile round trip no issues) gearbox is smooth throughout and clutch works as smooth as butter.Frame is solid with all standard castings and mounts.The suspension works but doesn't damp very well, still rides fairly well though. 
I've been running it with no dynamo just battery for tail light although all the lights and horn all work, I'll be including 6v dynamo with regulator an altette horn, tail light, oil tank and tool/ battery box in the sale.
New parts by me or the previous owner are new chain, brake shoes re lined front and rear, cork clutch plates, cables, ht lead spark plug and cap, webco float bowl extension, nos primary case unpainted, front exhaust pipe from feked.com and universal tulip end can.
