This very much sought after tax exempt 197$ Yamaha DT175A Enduro has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 2545 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks.
We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

The single most important purchase for classic restoration project is the bike to restore, whether it's going to be commercial venture or just hobby interest it all starts here!.

PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........As you can see this bike has got few bits missing, few bits damaged/broken, few bits rusty/corroded few bits are very nice indeed.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.........The wheels are straight with nice clean chrome rims, good hubs brake plates....front not fitted correctly! Forks yokes look straight with good chrome. Mudguards are both solid. Carburetor is free sliding off the twist grip. Paintwork is slightly faded but solid, fuel tank is squeaky clean inside and has just dents/marks scratches in the original paint. Exhaust is original solid. Seat base is in very good condition throughout. Shock absorbers are damping fine. The engine is cosmetically clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great has compression When we hooked it up to good battery fed it few squirts of ether it fires tries to start run but it,s obvious the carb needs attention......don't fret we didn't run it long.
