This lovely old 1978 Kawasaki KZ650B2 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 13672 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks.

The single most important purchase for classic restoration project is the bike to restore, whether it's going to be commercial venture or just hobby interest it all starts here!.

PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........As you can see this bike complete very original but for the seat silencers.
BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.........This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures from 38 years ago it is every bit as nice as it looks here.....A true time warp machine!. The wheels are straight with nice clean chrome rims, good hubs, brake plate, disc, caliper working master cylinder. Forks yokes look straight with good chrome clean alloy. Mudguards are both solid are tidy. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight hangers. Instruments look great. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Paintwork is slightly faded but solid, fuel tank is squeaky clean inside and has just minor dents/marks scratches in the original paint. Chain guard is tidy. The engine is cosmetically very clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great has compression – When we hooked it up to good battery fed it few squirts of ether it fires starts runs but it,s obvious the carbs need attention.
