1979 DOHC CB750 for sale.Perfect winter project.I bought this bike three years ago, and rode it 80 mileshome without any issues, except forgetting about the manual reserve tank switchand thinking I'd run out of fuel in the middle of nowhere! When bought the bike my intention was to cafe racer itover the winter of 2013/2014, so set about stripping it down in preparation, but an ongoing VW T2 camper project and jobs in the house overtook it.We're thinking about moving house soon, so the chances of megetting round to completing the bike before we move are pretty slim. The only issue noticed when laying out the parts to take photos,is two chips in the fuel tank paintwork, which I've taken close pictures of.You'll see in the photos that I've made wooden box on wheelsfor the engine, tank and other parts I've stripped off the frame. It will make it easier to transport ifnecessary, but the top slats are screwed on so access is available for anyonewho wants to view before buying. When packing all the parts thought that the bike might betoo good for cafe racer project, based on the condition of individual parts. I've added photo of when picked it up in2013, so you'll maybe see what mean.I think it must be one of the first DOHC models, so perhapskeeping it original would be better option in the long run. Anyway, it's up to you. Please think twice before putting in any silly offers. don't have to sell it and it'll store andtransport to wherever we end up just fine as it is. just think it's pity for it to wait 'tilI can get round to clearing my feet and getting cracking on it.I'm quite often out of mobile phone coverage, so if youmessage me through eBay with your number, I'll call you from landline or justrespond to your message when get chance.I've got few more photos, but eBay only lets you upload12, so message me if you want to see more. You'll have to arrange for shipping or collection once the listing is complete.
Cheers.
