1979 Yamaha RD400 Daytona Special Very rare classic vintage original survival light project motorcycleNever have time to attempt to start and will sell in condition as is where is and as a non running condition at moment.This owner motorcycle bought years ago from the son of the original owner in western province of Canada. Now the bike is in my garage in Toronto Ontario. Never parked outside and was well stored inside garage. bought the bike as you can see in the pictures as is with front headlight and components missing for reasons unknown why this was done) and one lever clutch broken. found used case headlight and used signal lights and they will came with bike. Note all the wires of the headlamp were disconnected properly by pulling out from the case and left all connections attached .The rest of the bike is almost new as the bike was used very little, mere 8310 km or 5163 miles (note that the odomenter as kilometer and not miles because the bike was sold originally to Canada )Now the good things, interior gas tank is like new and no rust as you can see from the pictures the motorcycle is in very good original preserved condition with original paint and all the parts you see are OEM. No modification done )The two OEM original exhaust very good condition and are almost newEngine has very good compresson but as said no attempt has been made to start. So will sell the bike as a non running bike.This bike is matching number, the frame and engine # 3J7- 0004.. (withheld numbers)Bike has some light scratches and few little spots of superficial rust and has very good chrome. have not attempted to clean or shine the bike, so most of little shadows and marks may go away with good cleaning.Please take your time to zoom and analyze each single picture provided.
