1980 SUZUKI GS 550L NO RESERVE Welcome to the Auction of my Suzuki GS550. The bike was importedfrom the USA and comes with the Nova reference paper stating all duty has been accounted for which enables you to proceed with UK Registration. We have recentlychecked the bike over and appears to be in good order. Fuel tank was drainedand fresh fuel added. All oils checked and once new battery was fitted andfuel reached the carbs the bike started first time. The bike now starts andrides as it should. friend has ridden around my farm and confirms it pullsvery well and changes gear and brakes as it should. The engine in these bikesare bomb proof and have no major issues. The bike is complete other than side panel which covers thebattery. The tank at some stage is partially stripped and I assume the new owner would paintthis and the side panels to match. At some stage the bike has highfootrests mounted to the frame (easy rider look) These could be unbolted ifrequired. The foot gear change has also been modified with heel change added which is typical US mod apparently and one of the front indicator stalks has damage. Mileage shows as 32,974 which have no reason to dispute. The chrome on the bike looks pretty good and should polishup well. have made no attempt to do this or clean the bike. Indeed the bike ishow bought it and is left for the new owner to enjoy. A fine looking bike with great engine ready for its nextchapter. Getting quite collectable now and sound investment.
