You are looking at garage find 1980 XJ650 Shaft Drive.
It was last on the road in 1994, apparently working well at the time but suffered crack in the frame just in front of the left rear shock absorber.
Bodily is is pretty good, original, repaired seat obviously and general wear and tear, the bike was one owner bike until recently and just left in the garage. It even has the original tool kit under the seat.
Mechanically the gears engage but with effort and the engine appears to be seized. Hooking battery pack to the bike shows the lights to be working but nothing from the starter button!
Hydraulics and cables need replacing, tyres look okay, Avon front, Michelin rear but are over 20 years old.
Basically, the bike needs full overhaul, or great source of spares, maybe hardtail or cafe racer trike project.
