Registered in August 1983, this is rare classic shaft drive two stroke moped, last on the road in 1999, only 4197 miles on the clock! It is good runner although in need of work so being sold for spares or repair.
Bodily it is pretty pretty simple, they are pretty basic bikes but robust. The important bits are there and working, the obvious bits missing are the rear lens, rear mudguard, air filter and engine shroud, possibly few other bits, most will be easily found on here! It would make great custom project or basis for an easy first restoration.
Mechanically it is surprisingly good, it starts easily on the kickstart from hot or cold, the lights turn on, the indicators and horn work. The exhaust is loosely fitted so it's bit loud but sounds healthy, the shaft turns the rear wheel in quiet manner. The front tyre stays inflated, the rear needs tube, either way they are obviously over 16 years old with questionable tread and will need replacing. Both brakes work well at walking pace.

Sold strictly as spares or repair, it is available to view in Kennington, London SE5 which is outside the congestion zone. There is no V5, this will need to be applied for, the frame number is clearly stamped. It does come with key.
