This 1985 Kawasaki KLR600-B1 Enduro adventure sports bike has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 9855 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks.

The single most important purchase for classic restoration project is the bike to restore, whether it's going to be commercial venture or just hobby interest it all starts here!.

PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........As you can see this bike is very nearly complete looks to be very original. It has obviously stood while so the battery is flat, paintwork is faded tank is mucky inside.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.........This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures from 31 years ago it is every bit as solid as it looks here. The wheels are straight with nice clean alloy rims. Forks yokes look straight. Instruments look great. Carburetor is free sliding off the twist grip. Seat is in good condition throughout. Shock absorber is damping fine. The engine is cosmetically very clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great has compression but doesn't seem to be sparking so we haven't had it running.
