Twin Cylinder, 350cc Stroke Engine with Yamaha Power Valve System (YPVS)

This bike is all original with matching engine and frame numbers. Nothing is missing from the bike and it runs and rides perfectly. The bike has been restored to very high spec with the frame, swing-arm, wheels and suspension all being powder coated and in excellent condition.
I have recently completed top end rebuild of the bike including pistons, gaskets and cylinder head polish. The engine kick starts 1st or 2nd time and idles up to temperature perfectly.
The bike is joy to ride and anyone who has owned an RD 350 before will know that the twin cylinder stroke engine can hold its own against bigger stroke bikes of its age. The power valves are in working condition and kick in at the correct revs leading to that surge of power that the YPVS is famous for.
The mechanicals, frame and components of this bike are all in excellent condition. The switch gear and dial unit are all original and in good condition.
The only bad points on this bike are the few cracks on the body work listed below and viewable in pictures.
Crack around the left hand mirror hole.Scratched on the bottom right fairing.Dent and cracked paint on the right hand side of the tank. new tank with fresh paint comes with the bike.Scratches on exhaust
Viewing is recommended but you will not be disappointed. With some money spent on fixing the fairings, this bike will be mint condition 1989 classic stroke racer... perfect for the summer biking season.
The bike is currently SORN and comes with no MOT or Tax.
