Hi All,Here for auction is my CBR600 F-K, currently it is not running and will require work to put it back on the road. The over all condition is ok for it's year but please study the pictures carefully as it does have lot of scratches and bumps.I owned the bike since 1992 and was the second owner, you will however notice its had owners. This is due to both my Dad and brother putting the bike in their names at times through that period so they could ride and insure it. Mostly whilst my wife and were having children and unable to ride.The bike was last on the road in 2011 and it ran perfect, it has since been sat in the corner of my shed do nothing. I've recently services the front brakes with new seal kits and have the back brake stripped and ready to be re-fitted as they were all binding when dragged it out. I tried to start the bike couple of weeks ago with view to putting it on eBay but unfortunately it would only fire on two cylinders, I've since cleaned the carbs and replaced the plugs but it still wont start.  cant believe it would take to much time to get going if you have the no how and time to do the work.In some respects I'm little sad to see it go as I've had some great times on this bike, but do think it would be of much more use to some as winter bike/project or once the work is complete good solid reliable ride.As you would expect bike of this age has not gone through life without tumble here or there. It started life as black and read standard CBR but unfortunately due to visit into local hedge needed to replace most of the panels and do repaint, Not really sure why went for yellow but seemed good at the time. Don't let this put you off as this happened 20 years ago and since then I've ridden to Assen twice, toured Europe and used it as good all round bike covering over 30,000 miles since then.Anyway feel like I'm telling you my life story, but if you have the time and the no how you will end up with good reliable bike with out spending fortune and hopefully enjoy it as have.Should have any questions please email me via eBay first and please do take the time to look round the bike or come and visit as it is 26 years old and it's not pristine.Thanks for lookingPayment is cash on collection only please.RegardPaul
