What piece of history! This can only go up in value if kept in good condition. This example has only 20,100 miles on the clock too, which is explained by it spending most of its life in Guernsey and Jersey. The bike was originally from Scotland so am told, registered in Guernsey in the mid 90's and then came over to Jersey this year.
Engine sounds gorgeous and is exactly as you'd expect it to be. The period Yoshimura exhaust helps too of course..
The bike rides very nicely and is responsive and lively just as you'd expect. We've had hoot using the bike whilst it's been with us.
Condition is as the pictures show generally very nice indeed. Paintwork appears original it has been dropped on the right hand side in the past and I've taken pictures to show the minimal damage done by this. The wheels have been painted (again by previous owner) and could do with refinishing back to original. It's not perfect it's 23 years old but it is very nice example of MK1 Blade.
Please note that the bike is located and registered in the Channel Island of Jersey. Taxes, registration fees etc if it is to be registered in the UK are the buyers responsibility. That said we have experience of registering bikes in the UK so please contact us if we can help at all.
We can collect any buyers or potential purchasers from Jersey airport or the harbour. We can also arrange shipping to Poole, Dorset with Channel Seaways for around £70.
