Reduced and priced to sell as don't have the time or inclination to spend ages negotiating/answering questions. This bike is very good value at this price and bargain for someone! If it doesn't sell I'll keep it!
1995 Honda CBR1000F. Just 7,600 miles. There is plenty of proof to support the mileage, old Mots, vosa check etc. The last owner kept this bike for 19 years. It was dry stored for many years. It has recently been recommissioned, with the following work done:
Petrol tank, fuel lines and carbs fully flushed, cleaned and new jets fitted.New Michelin Pilot Road 3s fitted. These have done 200 miles.Oil and filter changed.New plugs fitted.
It rides really well, just as you would expect with such low mileage. Everything feels tight, the suspension isn't soggy like on many older bikes. The brakes are well up to the job on this bike. The engine pulls really well from idle to redline. There are no untoward noises, the cam chain tensioner is silent, unlike earlier bikes and high mileage ones.
There are some storage scratches here and there and the some stone chips but no cracks on the plastics. The bike isn't immaculate (it would be lot dearer if it were) but it is remarkably good for its age, is mechanically spot on and wouldn't take much to improve to very high standard.
It is HPI clear, has new MOT and is ready to ride. would set off to anywhere in Europe on this bike tomorrow without worry.
Please note: If you click buy it now require an email immediately to make contact. Following this, deposit of £200 will be required within 12 hours to hold the bike with the balance and collection within days. If you can't agree to this please don't click buy it now, or will just relist the bike. Offers below the buy it now price will be ignored.
Viewing welcome but no test rides as you won't be insured.
I can recommend good bike courier if you need one.
Please check my feedback, I'm not dealer but have sold bikes from my collection before, so you can see that tell it as it is.
