1997 Honda CB500
Here is an easy-going everyday 500cc Honda, on the road and ready to provide sterling service for anyone who requires good old-school basic but reliable motorcycle.The bike has its full service history and has only done 36,500 miles.It is in perfect working order with no known faults. speed box, clutch all A1, brakes excellent. Recent new rear chain and sprocket fitted. Last service stamp was October 2015 on 35,800  miles.The bike comes with V5C registration certificate and an MOT valid until January 2017.Cosmetically The bike is superb for age. Enamel on the frame is excellent. Paintwork on the tank is perfect apart from one tiny chip near the seat.Wheels are good and clean, tyres are both excellent Continentals, rear is actually still like new. The rear panniers are in sound condition but look to have been scuffed, possibly by the previous owner getting the bike down his narrow entry.The centre stand has been removed but is with the bike and appears to be in good condition. The sidestand is very good.The bike is also fitted with Oxford heated grips.If you are looking for tidy and rideable basic bike you would struggle to find better value machine than this dependable Honda twin.An ideal reasonably lighter-weight ,electric start classic alternative.
