Vehicle overview:Hi here from my personal collection is 1999 Honda CG125 Air Cooled 125cc 4-stroke 5-speed manual learner legal motorcycle. This motorcycle is in okay to good condition for its year. Very sort after bike with bulletproof reliability. Starts, runs and rides as it should do. have just fitted replacement lower mileage engine. Very nice top quality scooter from Honda. Sporty quick lightweight first bike or commuter bike. Starts first kick and runs perfectly and it pretty quick, should see around 65mph. have refurbished this bike and it fully working ready for it's next owner. Sold with new 12 month TAX receipt* and new 12 month MOT certificate so can be ridden away! Comes with keys, new MOT certificate, new TAX receipt*, full V5 registration document and full purchase receipt.
Overall condition (1 being for spares, 20 being showroom as new condition) :12. Good condition for its year, clean and tidy. well used but solid and faultless bike. Does have some age related wear and tear (see photos and watch the video). good example of this model. Very good engine with good solid exhaust system.
Mechanical condition: Very good, starts first kick of the kick start. Good battery fitted. 125cc 4-stroke air-cooled single cylinder engine. Plenty of power, idles very nicely, nippy off the mark and runs perfectly. No leaks at all. Manual choke as standard working fine. Engine starts easily and runs very well.
Cosmetic condition: Good for its age. Has some marks, scratches and cracks to plastics but is solid and has nothing that needs attention. Rear cowl has been previously repainted. Chrome on wheels still very presentable. This bike is in its original colour scheme. Please view the photos and watch the video. Seat cover has been replaced.
Electrics Everything works, no faults to report.
Test run: Runs and rides nicely, quick off the mark and rides as it should do. Very quick light bike, should see 65mph+. Pulls cleanly. Runs and rides superb! Handles great and sounds awesome (see video).
Brakes: Good working order. Predictable drum brake at the front and rear wheel.
Suspension: Good working order front and back with correct dampening.
Tires: Both tires are okay, front tyre has approx 50% tread remaining and rear tyre has approx 60% tread remaining, both fine for me to take through new MOT test.
MOT? This motorcycle will be sold with NEW 12 MONTHS MOT CERTIFICATE.
TAX? :This is my motorcycle and will be sold with NEW 12 MONTHS TAX RECEIPT post auction end*.
*- As of 1st October 2014 if the buyer wishes to take advantage of having new 12 months TAX receipt included in the sale then it will be their responsibility to make the sure the bike is insured from the agreed day that the seller will arrange to TAX it from otherwise the bike will be sold untaxed with no reduction of the sale price.
What comes with the bike? Comes with keys, new MOT certificate, new TAX receipt*, full V5 registration document and full purchase receipt.
