For sale is my 1999 Suzuki SV650. Only owned for the past few months but am moving away so need it gone. 

Very good first big bike for someone who has just passed their A2 license, or is planning to in future! 

The bike is currently fitted with restrictor kit (washers in carb manifolds) to restrict the power to 47 bhp, so it is A2 license compliant. The restrictor kits usually cost around £80 without fitting. 

Very easy job to remove them and restore it to full power (around 70bhp), so would be decent first bike for someone who just passed their DAS also. 

As it is 17 years old, it is in no way in mint condition. However, for its age it is very tidy with no noticeable damage or severe corrosion. Few rusty bolts here and there and the paint from the motor and fork lowers is beginning to chip, but this is very common problem on the old SV's. 

The bodywork was repainted by myself in Ford Matisse blue, so it isn't an original paint code. There are few minor scuffs on it but other than that it looks fantastic in the light. Bare in mind it isn't show bike and the paint reflects that. 

It was previously CAT C, but had been amended and put back on the road by the previous owner in 2014. All problems were corrected and it is now solid bike. 

34,000 miles on her, but she hasn't really missed beat since have owned her. Carbs could do with balance as it hasn't been done in while, but it isn't really noticeable when riding so is more of peace of mind thing. 

Fitted with Scorpion race can which sounds very mean and deep. Unfortunately the previous owned had damaged the can, so it is scuffed and there was minor leak around the rivets near the bottom of the slip on. It has been fixed with some exhaust gum and passed an MOT with it. However, new cans can be picked up for £70ish. 

12 months MOT as it was only tested last week.

Pirelli Diablo supercorsa tyres with plenty of life left in them 
Black tinted double bubble screen 
LED indicators and electronic relay to correct flash rate. 
Dreaded 'green connector' issue has been bypassed so will not arise in future.

Fresh oil change less than 100 miles ago 
Fresh coolant less than 100 miles ago 
New clutch cable 

Will come with the old clear screen, some aluminium bar ends to be fitted, and the old battery which still works but originally just changed it for peace of mind. 

Could do with new chain soon as well, but again, there is no tight spots and it passed its MOT with the current one so it will last bit longer. 

Overall, its what you would expect from bike of this age, and will make any new rider happy with it.
