I bought it to commute on after the previous owner had left it at friends place for years or so. The body work was damaged and missing when it showed up at my place and it was in very sorry shape.
To get it back on the road I:
Replaced the rotted out stock exhaust with Stainless Steel set from Delvik (Used) including SS studs new gaskets and used Remus canRebuilt front and rear calipers with new seals and padsReplaced the chainReplaced the rear suspension bearings Rebuilt the carbsRebuilt the clutch assemblyPainted the frame and swing-armPainted what was left of the bodyworkChanged to LED indicators Front and Rear (fronts were missing and the rears had no bulbs)New fluids and filter Air filter was cleaned and re-oiledNew fork seals and fresh oilNew BatterySmall fuse panel under seat for Heated grips (Oxford) Added bar end mirrors - surprisingly useful One 8" halogen headlight and Cowl from Harley something or anotherChanged most bolts to SS with anti-seizeCustom Carbon Fiber front mud guardDid the air-box mod to equalize the ram air pressuresAdded digital speedometer and tachometer with required instrumentation lights MOT compliant However, have never figured out the tach wiring so no tach.I have programmed the odometer to match the broken odometer that came off the bike and added miles as have ridden it for the last months or so. The millage will go up as it is my daily ride.
Now the bad bits:The rear shock is tired, an R6 shock is great option to improve itThe tyres are legal and good in the dry but bit vague in the wetThe carbs could use sync and are running bit too rich. It starts right up and runs great but for fuel economy and smell it could be leaned out bit.The paint on the body is cheap and hate bodywork so is rough too.

The bike rides and runs WAY better than it looks and for the price, hard to beat.
