I bought this bike earlier in the year, it was owned by afriend of friend who had had it for several years. imported the bike fromJersey, where it has lived since new it is now fully UK registered with allduties paid (on 2000 Reg), V5 document present, full MOT with no advisories, etc. have decided to advertise it for sale as simply have toomany toys, and, if truth be told, prefer pootling about on my 50s and 60sBritish bikes! couldn’t resist buying it as they are such beautiful bikes,I’ve always fancied one and they are only heading up in value!Since buying the bike have had major service and‘refresh’ carried out by MW Racing in St. Helens, which included full stripand rebuild of the front forks, new brake pads all round, oil and filter, new battery and various other bits and bobs. wanted someone with an experiencedeye to give the bike good check-over to make sure all was well and wasrecommended Mike at MW Racing by friend who has had his own MV Agustas andvarious other special bikes looked after by Mike for 25+ years. The bike comes complete with sets of keys, along with itsoriginal folder and workshop manual, and purchase receipt from the originalsupplying dealer. There are various bills and receipts from throughout its life. The bike has been fitted with Blueflame exhaust system at great expense (itsounds absolutely fantastic!), and has also had an uprated Sachs Competitionrear shock, carbon fibre front mudguard and few other little bits and bobs –but otherwise it’s very un-messed with, original example. The bike has hadnew Pirelli tyres fitted in the past couple of years. Obviously because it’s lived on atiny island for nearly all of its life, the mileage is very low compared tomost, at just over 9000 miles! As you can see in the pictures, the bike presents very wellindeed, but is not show pony. There are few minor marks around the bikewhich are commensurate with age, but nothing that really detracts at all fromthe overall appearance. I’m just fussy! Mechanically everything appears to bein fine fettle, all of the electrics are working as they should. have priced the bike significantly cheaper than any othersfor sale on the market at the moment, and think it presents excellent value formoney. You’ll struggle to find such low-mileage machine in this price bracketand I’m certain it would be good investment for any buyer. Please note that this bike is private possession and hasnothing to do with my classic car restoration and sales business – it is soldas seen with no warranty.
--------------------------------------------------------Please take your time looking through the photos – am not trying to hide anything from prospective buyers, like the vast majority of people on eBay these days. Just check my feedback, and you’ll see that I’m completely honest seller. Do remember that there is no substitute for coming to see the bike yourself.I strongly recommend viewing the bike if you plan to buy. I've described it as well as can. It is sold as seen with no warranty because of its age, and it must be inspected before you hand over any money. All funds must be cleared before the car can be taken away. UK BIDDERS ONLY, PLEASE! The bike must be collected from my workshop near Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester, M16. If you have ANY questions – please ask them BEFORE buying.I can potentially arrange delivery by transport firm at extra cost, but again, the bike must be inspected before you pay me. PAYMENT BY PAYPAL IS NOT ACCEPTED.
