Up for grabs is my 2000 plate R1 (carb model) Have owned it for years now and only selling as have been given the go ahead from her in doors that can spend some of our hard earned money on newer bike. hadn't planned on this actually happening so last year only 400 miles ago fitted new Mitchelen pilot 2s to the front and back and also changed the chain and sprocket for did ring chain and sprocket set and replaced the brakes with wavey disks front and back with new pads. It was also fully serviced and had an mot done at the time. Mot wise currently mot'd until June the 2nd 2016. Im happy to put 12 months on for the new owner as the bike passed with no advisories last time and it's only done 400 miles since then. I'm not going to bore you the history of the R1's if your looking at this you probably know what there all about. She starts runs and stops perfectly, goes like super bike should and has nice exhaust that makes great noise when accelerating and when throttling off makes the nicest burble have heard from any bike. Please study the pictures and remember this is 16 year old bike so it will have the odd mark small paint cracking around the right head light shown in picture) If the bike was time warp example it would fetch crazy money its in my option very clean for its age and always get comments on how clean and tidy it is. I'd rate it as an out of 10 but obviously the best thing you can do is come and see the bike to make up your own mind. It's got custom rear end tail tidy with nice hugger, Braded hoses and few other little nice touches. It's good genuine honest bike that want to go to good owner, Price wise have set the starting price as the reserve so the first bid could buy it but the bike will be running until the end of the auction. few simple requests don't call or message and ask if will take less for cash! It's pretty obvious that would expect the balance to be paid in cash so you won't get it cheaper and will be letting the auction run to the end of the auction unless get some amazing offer can't not refuse.
