For auction here is 2001 Yamaha Thunder cat YZF600R. This machine comes with current V5C and appears to have had three owners.The bike has been stood for few years and therefore requires re-commissioning. However, put jump leads to the bike today and it started first whizz. great sounding engine. All the lights and dials and electrics appear to function as they should. as usual, brakes need bleeding, exhaust is blowing slightly, and the oil filter has small rust hole in it, so it drops oil, so it needs new oil filter spinning on. Look carefully at the pictures as they form part of the description. This is definitely tidy up job, but the main elements are there and the engine sounds great. It clearly needs new battery as this is dead. The petrol does not smell the best either, although it ran fine. left it ticking over for several minutes to allow it to warm through, and it seemed to respond too that. It responds well to the throttle, the choke works fine as does the horn etc.I would say that this could be cleaned up and put back on the road with little bit of work, mostly cosmetic and service type work. am selling this without reserve as running project.Viewing is welcome. 01246 411977 for an appointment.
