The XL series of bikes was hugely popular from the early seventies rightthrough most of the eighties. Here we have cleverly engineered homage to thatseries, the XL230.To create this, Honda took the frame of the CT200 as base, modified itand added the 223cc air-cooled, four stroke engine from the FTR. The FTR enginegives excellent power delivery and is easily controlled, so you're not fightingit the whole time. It's smooth ride with enough guts to get the heart pumping. Ours is low mileage, 2002 model (the first year of production). The twin shocks are set offagainst the black frame, black over muffler and silver tank with orange band across the top. Wethink it looks extremely cool and it is incredibly light and easy to ride.
