Up for grabs is my 2009 (K9) Suzuki GSXR 1000. I purchased the bike about month ago from my local Honda Lings for an extortionate amount of money after trading in my 750 and absolutely love it however due to recently moving home could do with some extra cash for other ‘more important things’ (as my Mrs calls them) and the bike, therefore, is to be sacrificed.. tried arguing but women just have a way of winning… I’m kind of hoping it doesn’t sell so can justify keeping it but have to let the auction run its course apparently. So let’s get started.. this GSXR looks great and due to the modifications (see below) is breath taking-ly fast! I’ve previously had K9 600 and K8 750 which, in their own way, are amazing bikes but make no mistake the GSXR 1000 is in league of its own, can’t describe it any better without saying it is just an animal! My bike has never been out in the rain, have apps that track weather and haven’t been caught out yet! Always garaged and cleaned after each ride. Before we get onto the good stuff want to outline the negatives… there are few age related marks on the bike, be aware, this is not brand new bike out of the showroom it is used. There is nothing serious but I’ve sold bikes before and buyers have turned up expecting not one stone chip… let’s be realistic these small types of blemishes are to be expected, the worst is pictured. This is my first litre bike so perhaps I’m biased but either way this thing can certainly hang with the big boys. I’ve done lot of research and even at this time of year these bikes seem to be going for good price so think what I’m looking for is reasonable especially the fact that the buyer is going to have to really pull the keys out of my hand… So here is the boring bit.. I’m happy to entertain viewings however will not be allowing joy rides.. if you want this bike you come to buy not to get free adrenaline rush.
