For sale is my 2009 (59 plate) Yamaha WR250R, which bought in July 2017, intending to use it is bike to travel around the World on. Unfortunately, my plans changed and haven't used it other than weekend off-roading in Wales, so it is now for sale.
The bike is in used condition, with some cosmetic scuffs and scrapes, as one would expect. have tried to capture these in the photographs. There are currently no mirrors on the bike as removed them for the off-roading and haven't been able to locate them.
The bike is currently SORN with no MOT, since haven't used it for while. However, it has been regularly run in the garage, so it starts with no problem at all. It has had new battery as the last one began to struggle now that the weather has turned colder. believe it would pass an MOT (perhaps with the original exhaust attached instead of the FMF!) with mirrors added.
I recently serviced the bike; it had new wheel bearings, new chain and sprockets, new Michelin AC10 tyres fitted front and rear, new air filter, new oil and oil filter, heated grips, lowering linkage on the shock (lowering about 5mm only!) and new coolant. Mechanically the bike is sound.
