Welcome to theauction for my Ducati Forza for renovation. Lack of time and too many other projects reluctantly forces me to sell. This was made around 1981 by Mototrans inSpain and is one of the few Ducati singles to be fitted with an electricstarter. This is one of the later models with the starter fitted behind thecylinder. The early ones had the starter fitted in front of the engine. As sooften happened the original Spanish made starter motor expired and Yamaha onehas been adapted to fit. standard modification) This requires certain amount of engineering tothe Yamaha starter motor sprocket whichI have carried out. All it needs is new extended starter chain. When testedthe starter motor fitted worked fine.Most of my effortshave been centred on the electrics. have fitted new fuse box for bladedfuses along with new indicators and all the electrics work fine although Idon't have the right sized battery for it. The electrics are 12 volt. The carburettor has been ultrasonicallycleaned and although haven't yet had the engine running am confidant thatwith little more time and effort which don't have) it will. The wheels rims arealuminium and seem in good shape. The hydraulics are in very poor shape andwill need complete overhaul.
