Hi, up for sale is my 2013 Aprilia Dorsodura 1200 with just over 9000 miles on the clock. I'm sure you're well aware of what an absolute animal this bike is but take it from me it really isn't for the inexperienced rider. Having said that it does have the benefit of ABS and stage traction control to get you out of muddle along with the three rider modes, Rain, Touring and Sport, the last being downright insane in my opinion. I've ridden lot of bikes but never one with so much torque on tap regardless of which gear you're in.Anyway, the bike is in very good condition with only the odd age related blemish here and there, the most noticeable being slight bubbling on the tank in places which there's no getting away from on these bikes i'm afraid due to the tank expansion which happens as result of the ethanol or biofuel that's mixed with modern fuels. Obviously everything works exactly as it should and it has recently had full service at local italian bike specialist which included all fluids, oil (Putoline nano tech), coolant, brake and clutch fluids, all filters including the submerged fuel filter in the tank, and set of four iridium plugs.It has brand new DID gold X-ring chain and I've recently fitted set of Oxford sport heated grips and although they're the intelligent type that switch themselves off i've put them through relay so they switch off with the ignition.For bike with so much grunt you'd hope the brakes would be good and they are. Brembo calipers front and rear and 320mm front discs mean one finger braking. The tyres have plenty of tread and are Pirelli Corsa Rossos.The previous owner fitted the Crauser soft panniers which lock in place are very quick and simple to remove. Ideal for camping trip or for the commuter. They look in new condition.The exhaust was replaced fairly early on with the genuine Aprilia developed Arrow exhaust which quite frankly sounds amazing. It pulses through your chest and just makes you want to open her up and blip the throttle just to hear the noise! Receipts for this including fitting add up to cool 1500 pounds.I have genuine reason for sale and already have another bike so i'm not desperate to sell and am not interested in entertaining chancers or time wasters.
