You are bidding on my Belgarda Yamaha TDR 125, first registered in 1992 and much loved, even exhibited in classic bike shows until my son's first solo journey when it was returned looking like this.

The first images are of the motorcycle in its current condition.  The last three images are to demonstrate how it looked before.

A little bit of history about this bike:

The TDR 250 came out in the late 80s and was considered groundbreaking. It really was supermoto before we even knew the term.  An off-road inspired road bike, it was great hit.

So good was it that Belgarda (Yamaha's official Italian racing wing) spotted that there might be gap in the market for 125 version of the same bike.  Yamaha refused themselves in the early days to become involved with such project because the ultimate teenage hooligans bike, the DT125LC, was such great hit.

Yamaha did however licence Belgarda to manufacture some 125cc versions of the TDR using the DT125 engine and this bike is one of those limited edition runs.  First manufactured in Italy, this bike was used in Switzerland until being imported into the UK in 2012. have owned it ever since.

There are few things don't know since the accident:

I don't know if the engine runs, however have no reason to suspect that it doesn't.
I don't know if the chassis was twisted in the accident it looks straight visually and my son low-sided the bike suggesting that the handlebars took the full impact.
The engine and chassis look visually undamaged including the exhaust.
The bike does have two undamaged Brembo aluminium wheels and also Brembo Calipers which appear undamaged however the master cylinder for the front brake is broken.
The bike also has two brand new Metzeler Lazer Tyres (Front 110/70/17) (Rear 130/70/17)

My late dad bought me this bike and cannot look at it without feeling sad that it was damaged this way. haven't personally the enthusiasm to rebuild it but hope that it might find home with someone that can.

I am prepared to deliver this motorcycle for free anywhere in the south-west of England, between Bristol Truro, and by negotiation elsewhere.  Otherwise, by collection. Viewing is recommended and can be arranged as this bike is sold as seen.

I will begin the bidding from 99p with no reserve.  ask that no zero bidders bid on this bike without contacting me first and it is my intention not to end this auction early.
