BMW F650 Single bought for trip to the Isle of Man as it would fit in van, but now not going so the bike is no longer needed which is why it is up for sale. Bike runs well and as it should. MOT valid until
18 November 2019 and on SORN. Come with pile of paperwork which have not really looked through. It has had new drive belt before bought it (details in paperwork) Has toolkit under the seat which needs clean and even the "oil funnel" to avoid spills. It has an optimate lead fitted. Both tires have decent tread left. It looks like the engine has been sprayed as every one of these have seen the paintwork does not last as has the exhaust front and rear, not the best job but it looks OK small "crack" in the seat cover. The bike is 16 years old and so has other age and wear marks as you would expect. Lights, horn, flashers, tail and break lights work as do the heated grips (BMW factory fit) the bike does not have main stand (apparently this was an OPTION !!) it does however have garage stand which fits the bike and acts like main stand so you can work on the bike easier. the bike also comes with BMW "fun audio" lockable storage box which is mounted/ removable box which is locked with the ignition key it has and audio lead and female 12v socket inside which you can plug music source into and listen while you ride this works and the volume is adjusted by buttons on the unit, had never seen one of these before but apparently they are rare. One "tank" rail is broken but should be easy enough to fix or replace. Also comes with BMW bag and two manuals BMW repair manual and one Haynes manual. have run the bike up to temp and the fan works and oil level is good. Also comes with bike cover.
So you could either buy and ride the bike or buy and restore, had no intentions of doing any work other than what was needed as it was for just bought for the trip and to be honest have not found anything needed doing to it so have not bothered. Genuine reason for sale as said no longer taking the trip so the bike is up for sale.
