Relisted due to time waster DAVEG2107 who couldn't be bothered to contact me and let me know what an arse hole he is. 10% of the sale price as soon as the auction ends is now required. BMW K100 scrambler, many hours and pounds have gone into this custom build, and it is certainly one off, gets loads of attention at shows and stands out from the sea of triumphs.12 months MOT as of 20/5/19. It has always passed first time without any advisories since may 2006. The performance is good, loads of power especially in the mid range and will happily sit at 95mph all day. The continental knobbly tyres are standard fitment on the BMW 1200GS, and although they make it look like handful, once they're warm they're surprisingly grippy. I've had the stand scraping the tarmac on numerous occasions.Handles well, with an adjustable hagon rear shock, twin brembo front caliper set up and single brembo for the rear.I've serviced it regularly myself, there is folder with some paperwork from before my ownership and spare keys.I started making cafe racer seat cowl out of aluminium to match the tank and mud guards which is included if you want it but not finished (picture 12) and never got around to wiring the rev counter up. The tank is dented, but in my opinion it adds to the look of the bike. The exhaust is loud and sounds good, it will pop and bang too which think is great but maybe not to everyones taste. These continent crossers were built to last, back in the day when the engineers at bmw had the final say, not the accounts. As testament to this, the 1000cc engines are known to be good for 200k miles with regular maintenance. This bike will get you anywhere you want to go, have ridden it all through France and up mountains off road in spain two years on the trot. could jump on it tomorrow and do it all again in full confidence. This is private sale of a classic bike so sold as seen.No more messers please I'm far too busy
